๐Ÿ”ฌ The Final Week of the WISER Summer Program has arrived, and it went out with a bang, capped off with certification! Six weeks of quantum computing, AI, and optimization came together in an incredible closing lineup.

๐Ÿ’ก Jim Masessa and Andrew Rozniakowski (Vanguard) presented Mobius, a system that uses evolutionary algorithms to automatically optimize AI prompts for business-critical applications. Their work shows how data-driven feedback loops can replace manual prompt engineering with scalable, enterprise-grade AI optimization.

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Dr. Monica Van Dieren (NVIDIA) returned to explain why quantum computing depends on HPC, AI, and GPU acceleration for practical utility, from error correction to hybrid workflow optimization. She also introduced the CUDA-Q platform, which bridges theoretical quantum algorithms and real-world scientific applications.

๐ŸŽฏ Dr. John van de Wetering introduced ZX calculus, a diagrammatic framework for representing, simplifying, and optimizing quantum circuits. Tools like PyZX and ZXLive make these powerful optimization techniques accessible for real quantum computing tasks.

๐Ÿงช Quantum Computing Inc. hosted a virtual lab tour showcasing room-temperature quantum photonic hardware for entropy computing and cybersecurity. From optical table experiments to nanophotonic chip testing, it was a fascinating look at the STEM disciplines behind commercial quantum hardware.

๐Ÿฆ Dr. Javier Lรณpez-Piqueres (JPMorgan Chase) showed how tensor networks, a method rooted in quantum physics, can solve constrained combinatorial optimization problems by building feasibility directly into the model. His results are highly competitive against leading classical solvers, especially for nonlinear cost functions.
