AI Interpretability Researcher & IBM Qiskit Advocate
Hi there! 👋 As AI systems grow more sophisticated, the question of whether they could have morally relevant experiences, and what we might owe them, is moving from science fiction to serious research. I work at the intersection of AI welfare, machine consciousness, and quantum computing, exploring how competing theories of mind, from computational functionalism to quantum accounts of consciousness, shape what we can claim about the inner lives of artificial systems. My goal is to bring technical rigor and philosophical honesty to one of the most uncertain and consequential questions of our time: could the minds we’re building actually feel?
