Excited to share that I’ve joined the WISER Quantum and AI Program 2026! Week one has already been incredible. Here’s a snapshot of what we covered:

🤝 Orientation with the WISER Team The WISER Team kicked things off by orienting all participants and setting the stage for this fifth annual Summer Program — six weeks of immersive training in quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and optimization. An amazing group of people making this experience possible!

🔬 Dr. Scott Crowder — IBM Delivered a compelling keynote on the future of optimization: how hybrid workflows blending classical computing, AI, and quantum technology are tackling some of the world’s most complex industrial problems.

⚛️ Dr. Seongmin Kim — Oak Ridge National Laboratory Showed us how quantum computing, AI, and high-performance computing are converging to accelerate materials discovery — solving optimization problems that were simply out of reach with traditional methods.

💻 Catalina Albornoz — Xanadu Introduced us to PennyLane and the paradigm of training classically and deploying quantum.

Five more weeks of deep-diving into quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and optimization ahead. Can’t wait to see where this journey leads!
